On the afternoon of October 15, 2025, Dr. Chen Guicai, Chairman of Zhejiang Esigma iotechnology Co., Ltd., visited the College of Life Sciences, China Jiliang University, and was officially appointed as a Distinguished Researcher of the Key Laboratory of Biometrology and Inspection and Quarantine of the State Administration for Market Regulation. As a leading talent in the biological field, the college expects to leverage his influence and resources to strengthen university-enterprise cooperation, promote the transformation of scientific research achievements, and improve the effectiveness of talent training. The appointment ceremony was hosted by Yu Xiaoping, Deputy Director of the Development Committee of China Jiliang University, and witnessed by college leaders, teachers and student representatives.

After the appointment, Dr. Chen delivered a thematic lecture titled "From Laboratory to Product - The Path of Industrialization of Scientific Research Achievements". Taking the TPM process as the framework, he elaborated that products need to go through three stages - technological breakthrough, production optimization, and market expansion - from the laboratory to the market. Combining practical cases of his own entrepreneurship, he conducted an in-depth analysis of the problems and countermeasures in each stage, emphasizing that the transformation of scientific research achievements requires multi-party collaboration.

After the lecture, accompanied by Professor Ye Zihong, Executive Deputy Director of the laboratory, and Professor Xu Yipeng, Dr. Chen visited various functional areas of the laboratory. He gained a detailed understanding of the scientific research equipment, research directions and project progress, affirmed the laboratory's advanced facilities and academic atmosphere, and conducted in-depth exchanges with researchers on scientific research innovation and achievement transformation, putting forward constructive suggestions.
